Wicking Clothing Keeps You Warm and Cool

Skiing is my favorite sport. I love being outdoors on a beautiful, winter day enjoying the sun and the slopes. Skiing down a long run is a great workout and I tend to get hot and sweaty under all the layers of clothing. Then I get on the chairlift for the ride back up to the top of the mountain and become chilled due to the rapidly cooling moisture on my skin. Wicking clothing solves that problem by drawing moisture, like sweat, away from my skin and through the fabric where it can evaporate.

In theory, it sounded like a great idea so I went out a bought a set of long underwear made of wicking fabric. I was amazed at how well it worked. I still get a bit sweaty on the long ski runs down the mountain but the sweat no longer stays on my skin, trapped by my outer layers. The wicking clothing actually pulls the sweat from my skin and out through the fabric. Now I am perfectly comfortable and warm on the chairlift rides all day long.Other wicking clothing, like pajamas, can be really helpful to people suffering from night sweats. Exercise clothes made from wicking fabric also offer a great benefit for people who like to exercise outdoors in the heat or cold. I am sold on wicking clothing. It keeps me warm and cool at the same time.

Acoustic Electric Guitars For Sale: Sound Great Live

Electric guitars have been around for a long time and are rather well known for being loud. The funny thing is that if they are not plugged in, they are not loud at all. In fact, an unplugged electric guitar really doesn’t make much sound at all. However, plug one into a Marshall stack, and you can hear that thing a mile away. However, acoustic guitarists used to have a rough time being heard in the mix when performing live with a full band.

For at least a couple of decades now, acoustic electric guitars for sale have been available on the market. I got my first acoustic guitar about fifteen years ago. It was a really cheap one that my mom helped me buy when I started guitar lessons. However, about five years ago, I started playing frequently with a classic rock band that plays a wide variety of songs. We often perform about fifty songs at each of our shows, and there are several that require an acoustic guitar. Much easier than trying to “mike” an acoustic guitar is to simply use an acoustic electric guitar. Shortly after starting with that band, I started looking for acoustic electric guitars for sale. I found a great one at a great price and it has done great thus far.
